Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.
A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
The arrests come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later released.
Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.
The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
